Contribute to Small Printer
Small Printer, our bi-monthly magazine, is published six times a year. It’s a full colour magazine packed full of interesting articles, letters, stories and printing history. It is entirely written by and published by members of the Society.
Articles
We love reading your articles in Small Printer magazine. After all, what is the Society without the members? We are always looking for interesting articles and stories about your own printing, print history, printing workshops and presses. So if you have something to tell us please contact the editor at editor@bpsnet.org.uk.
Photos
We love photos to go with your article but please remember to send high resolution (300dpi) photos, otherwise we can’t print them in the magazine. The more photos you send the better. Try to get people smiling and with their eyes open!
Letters to the Editor
If you want to comment on something you have read in Small Printer or just have an interesting point to make just send a letter.
Publication Dates
Small Printer is published 6 times a year in the following months: February, April, June, August, October and December.
Submission Deadlines
We need to have your copy by the 3rd of the month preceding publication, i.e for publication in August we will need your article and photos by 3rd July.
Why such a long lead in? The magazine is put together entirely by volunteers who all have other full time jobs. Editing a magazine takes time.
Advertising
If you would like to advertise in Small Printer please email the advertising officer in good time. Adverts have the same deadline as articles.
Advertising enquiries should be sent to editor@bpsnet.org.uk.
