Come along to a printers’ day out! Did you know that a printers’ day out is called a Wayzgoose? And Wayzgooses (not geese!), book fairs, print and design fairs happen all over the country all year round.
Find an event near you or travel to one of the big ones. They are great places to pick up a bargain and meet the people who make the work.

Exhibition: 'The Art & Craft of Print'
Mottisfont National Trust, Hampshire
Showcasing the work of nearly 30 major printmakers working in Britain today, including Angie Lewin, Mark Hearld, Emily Sutton and Jonny Hannah, alongside prints by a selection of influential 20th-century artists. 11am – 4.30pm daily.

The Ludlow Fine Book Fair 2026
The Clive Pavilion, Ludlow Racecourse, Bromfield, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 2BT
A weekend of beautiful books, traditional printing, bookbinding, rare finds and more: around 35 stands of bookbinders, presses, dealers, suppliers, and related organisations. Open from 10am to 4pm. Free entry. Café on site, toilets and free parking.

A radical bookfair is a place for booksellers, artists and activists to come together. Contains stalls and speakers. 11am to 5pm.

Sheffield Print Fair
The Millennium Gallery, 48 Arundel Gate, Sheffield, S1 2PP
Screen-printing, linocut, woodcut, etching, intaglio, digital prints, and more. 10am until 4.30pm. Free entry.

Dorset Wayzgoose
Stratton Village Hall, The Square, Stratton, Dorchester, DT2 9WG
10am – 4pm, free entry. Stalls will include prints, equipment and supplies. You can book a table for £10; email Dorset branch on dorset@bpsnet.org.uk. Hot and cold refreshments available, including Jean's Dorset Apple Cake. There are 4 EV charging points on site.
