Welcome to Lancashire and Cheshire Branch of the British Printing Society, which whilst not a very large branch is enthusiastic and friendly. The Branch originally was named the South East Lancashire Branch and the first meeting was held in 1972 with seven members present. We now have members not only in Lancashire and Cheshire but also in Greater Manchester, Derbyshire and North Wales; being served by a good road network we are open to members from any surrounding area.

Whether you are a practising printer or just interested in any aspect of printing we can offer you lots of help, advice and encouragement.

Why not come to one of our meetings? We meet at different venues and there's always a warm welcome for visitors. The photograph was taken at a meeting at the Paper Science Department at UMIST in Manchester. We also hold a number of social occasions throughout the year.

We issue a Newsletter ('Presslink') to members which describes the previous meeting, confirms details of the next meeting and gives any Branch news.
