The Library

The Society has a library of several hundred books. These include advanced and elementary works on printing and crafts related to it, business organisation and costing, private press books, and specimens of printing. These books are available to all members resident in the British Isles. No charge is made, but borrowers are required to pay outward and return postage.

Private Publications

Members are encouraged to publish booklets and leaflets, no matter how small, for distribution through the Bundle. No charge is made for mailing these items. To some it has been practice in printing, writing or experimental processes in typography and illustration. To others it is a means of publishing a personal point of view on typographic matters. To all it has been the means of initiating correspondence and exchange of publications with others of similar interests both in Britain and other parts of the English-speaking world. Co-operative publications, which a number of members produce together, have been produced by branches and by informal groups of members.
